Adventures Of A Nice Girl came to life in blog form in 2012 as I was preparing to move from London to New York to continue my acting studies. It provided a way for my neglected friends and family at home to keep up with my new life and gave me a creative outlet to remember my journey by. Since this time and my return to the UK I’ve moved from Tumblr to hosting pastures new and continue to write, create and document my inspirations and pursuits to fill the time when I’m not on stage or screen. In 2015 I was shortlisted for best in Travel at The Cosmopolitan Blog Awards and have since been lucky enough to work with brands and businesses worldwide. As a freelance travel writer I continue to write a range of articles for both online and print mediums. If you’re looking to comission someone for any kind of travel or lifestyle content I’m always happy to hear more.
The adventures truly started in 1989 and have proceeded to take place across a variety of settings including my home county of Wiltshire, a Summer Camp in the middle of the American Berkshire Mountains and my current location of choice, South East London. In an ideal world I’d be living in my Brooklyn Heights apartment writing novels by day and performing classic plays on Broadway by night however until that time, I’m embracing life trying to figure out just how to make this happen and happily loving the journey along the way.
“Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.”
-Ralph Waldo Emerson
